How shipping, exchanges, and refunds work at Patwa & Company.

At Patwa & Company, we price our garments at factory rates — the same price you’d pay walking into our Jaipur shops. This means we cannot build shipping or return costs into the price of every kurta. Instead, we charge shipping at honest courier rates, and offer optional Exchange Protection so you can shop with confidence.

01 / Shipping (India)
Shipping charges within India

Our shipping is tiered by the number of items in your order. The more items you order together, the lower the per-item shipping cost.

Charges apply to total quantity, including multiples of the same product. Shipping rates are uniform across India — Jaipur to Kerala, Delhi to the North-East.

02 / International
International shipping

We ship worldwide. International shipping is charged at a flat rate of ₹3,500 per order, regardless of weight or destination.

Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. These vary by country and are not included in the shipping fee.

03 / Delivery
Delivery timeline
  • Within India: 5 to 7 business days from dispatch
  • International: 10 to 18 business days, depending on destination and customs
  • Custom or special orders: Variable, confirmed at time of ordering

Orders are typically dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of payment confirmation. You will receive tracking details via WhatsApp once your order ships.

04 / Tracking
Order tracking

Once your order is dispatched:

  • Track it anytime from your My Account page
  • A tracking link is sent to your phone via WhatsApp
  • For any tracking question, message us at +91-90777-91000
05 / Exchange Protection
Exchange Protection (India only)

When you add an eligible item to your cart, Exchange Protection is included by default for ₹200. You can remove it at checkout if you don’t need it, saving the ₹200.

What Exchange Protection covers:

  • Size doesn’t fit — we’ll exchange for the right size
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Damage on arrival
  • Wrong item received

The window: 7 days from delivery.

How it works: Log into My Account → find the order → tap “Request Exchange” → pick the replacement size from what’s in stock → submit. Our team will arrange pickup within 2 business days and confirm via WhatsApp.

Why we charge for it: Because our garments are priced at factory rates, we cannot absorb return shipping costs the way mass-market retailers do. Exchange Protection allows us to keep prices honest while still giving you the safety net of a hassle-free exchange.

06 / International Exchanges
No exchange for international orders

Exchange Protection is not available for international orders. International return shipping costs are higher than most of our garments, which would make it unworkable.

If you are ordering from outside India, we strongly recommend:

  • Reach out on WhatsApp before placing your order — we’ll help you confirm sizing
  • Send us your measurements; we can suggest the right size based on the garment
  • For weddings or important occasions, plan ahead so we have time to advise

We want you to receive a garment you love. A two-minute conversation before ordering saves everyone the cost and time of an international exchange.

07 / Non-Exchangeable
Non-exchangeable items

Some items are not eligible for exchange, even within India:

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” on the product page
  • Accessories — buttons, brooches, pocket squares, etc.
  • Items where Exchange Protection was removed at checkout
  • Orders beyond the 7-day window from delivery
  • Items that have been used, washed, or altered in any way

Eligibility is always clearly shown on the product page before you order.

08 / Damaged Orders
Damaged or defective orders

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund.

To process the claim quickly, please share:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the damage or defect
  • A short description of the issue

We will arrange pickup and dispatch a replacement within 5 business days. If the item is out of stock, we issue a full refund instead.

09 / Refunds
Refunds

Refunds apply in these cases:

  • Damaged, defective, or wrong item received
  • Order cancelled before dispatch
  • Item undeliverable to your address (rare)

Refund timeline:

  • UPI payments: 1 to 2 business days
  • Card / Net Banking: 5 to 7 business days
  • All refunds go back to the original payment method

You will receive confirmation on WhatsApp once the refund is initiated.

10 / Cancellations
Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch by messaging us on WhatsApp at +91-90777-91000 with your order number.

A flat ₹200 cancellation processing fee is deducted from your refund. This covers payment processing and administrative costs.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible. If you no longer want the item, it will be treated as a return — covered by Exchange Protection if you opted in at checkout.
